Firmware Upgrade Guide

This guide will walk you through how to install the latest firmware version on your SwitchMaster device. This guide is for Windows, but will be indicative of the steps you will need to take on any other operating system.
This operation can also be done by some mobile phones or tablets.

The latest firmware version is v1.0.6-Stable.

Step 1 - Download Firmware

Download the ZIP file containing latest firmware file from the link above and unzip it to any location. You’ll need this to load onto the SwitchMaster

Step 2 - Join the SwitchMaster Wifi

The SwitchMaster broadcasts it own wifi network. You will have setup your own name and password.
Select your SwitchMaster’s network from the list, click connect and enter in your password.

Step 3 - Open a Browser

Open a browser and navigate to http://192.168.5.1
Your SwitchMaster’s current version is displayed in the top left hand corner.

Step 4 - Upload Firmware

Click on Choose File and find the .bin that you downloaded in step 1. This is usually located in your downloads folder. Select the file, then click on Upload.
The firmware will begin to upload to the device.

Step 5 - Upload Firmware (Cont.)

The firmware is uploaded when the progress bar is at 100%, you will need to wait 10 seconds before pressing the reset button on the board for the changes to take effect.

Step 6 - Done!

Check the new version by refreshing your browser. You may need to disconnect and connect to your devices wifi network again.
